A group of Bangladeshi Hindu immigrants came to Atlantic City, New Jersey with hope for a better future. To give their children the essence of their roots, religion and culture, they established Sree Sree Gita Sangha in 2000 — under the inspiration and guidance of Swami Jyotishwarananda Giri Maharaj.
What began as monthly prayer and Saraswati Puja has grown into a vibrant home for Krishna Janmashtami, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Maha Shiva Ratri and the rhythms of daily devotional life. In December 2010 we opened our prayer hall, with Radha-Krishna installed at its heart.
By 2030 we will open the doors of a permanent home for the Sangha — a temple, cultural hall, classrooms and community kitchen — in central New Jersey. Every gift, large or small, lays a stone in our foundation.
Every contribution lays a brick in our foundation. Donate securely through Zeffy — 100% of your gift goes directly to the Sangha.
